Symposium on “Role of Youth in National Development” held at SMS Varanasi

School of Management Sciences has been a pioneer institution in organizing panel discussions, symposiums etc. on various current issues. In this direction, recently a symposium was organized for the students of PGDM, MBA, MCA, BBA and BCA on the topic “Role of Youth in National Development” at its Khushipur Campus. The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour were Shri Nalin Satyakam Kohli and Shri Sunil Deodhar respectively.

Addressing the students, Shri Deodhar said that said that India is needing change – change of ideas, change of our perception and change of social structure. He also advised the students to serve the nation first and then anyone else.

Speaking as the Chief Guest, Shri Kohli said that youth power can change the direction of our country, social set-up, the economy and pave the way towards a developed India. Citing the instances of economic slowdown he exhorted the young generation to abolish petty things like casteism and invoke nationalism.

Director of the institute Prof.P.N.Jha welcomed the guests on the occasion and Executive Secretary Dr.M.P.Singh honoured them with mementos. Registrar and faculty members of the institute also witnessed the programme.
